Secretary of State Fontes Responds to Global Cloudflare Outage
PHOENIX – Cloudflare, an internet infrastructure security platform, experienced an outage that appears to have affected websites globally. Cloudflare provides tools to its customers that fight cybersecurity attacks and load content effectively to users.
Following the global outage, Cloudflare released a statement noting it saw a spike in unusual traffic early this morning and is working to bring all services back online.
Thanks to the quick work of our internal security team, the outage only temporarily paused the availability of the official azsos.gov website and has now been brought back online.
We appreciate the quick work of our cybersecurity partners at DEMA and the Arizona Department of Homeland Security to ensure this problem was resolved as swiftly as possible. Our office will continue to monitor the situation and remains confident our systems are secure.
