The Arizona Memory Project helps researchers discover information related to the history and government of Arizona by providing access to primary sources in Arizona archives, museums, libraries, and other cultural institutions. Visitors to the site will find some of the best examples of government documents, photographs, maps, and multimedia that chronicle Arizona's past and present.
“The Arizona Memory Project has been an incredibly valuable resource for 20 years,” said Secretary of State Adrian Fontes. “I am grateful for the efforts of the many contributors whose collections expand the base of knowledge for our body politic and our people.”
During this event, attendees will learn about the history of the Arizona Memory Project and the collections contributed by the State of Arizona Research Library, the Arizona State Archives, and the Arizona Capitol Museum.
