The city of Phoenix will host a news conference to provide an overview of the city's new Voting Centers. For the August Mayor and Council Election, registered Phoenix voters can cast their ballot at any of the 26 Voting Center locations during three days: Saturday, Aug. 27; Monday, Aug. 29; and Tuesday, Aug. 30 (Election Day).
Phoenix is the first city in the state to use the voting center concept, which will replace traditional polling places for all future city of Phoenix elections. Phoenix also is the first city in the country to offer voting (at voting centers) for three days.
