Proposition 207 proposes to allow limited marijuana possession, use, and cultivation by adults 21 or older; amend criminal penalties for marijuana possession and allow for expungement of marijuana offenses; and impose a tax on marijuana sales. Proposition 208 proposes to tax annual income over $250,000 (single persons or married persons filing separately) or $500,000 (married persons filing jointly or heads of households) to increase funding for public education.

The Town Halls will feature speakers from organizations that advocate for and against each proposition to provide attendees with key information to help them make an informed decision.

There will be time allotted for open dialogue, questions and comments during each event. Spanish and American Sign Language interpreters will also be present.
