Hobbs: ‘Problems plagued this exercise from the start.’

PHOENIX – A new report from the Office of the Arizona Secretary of State provides an in-depth look at the persistent security lapses, delays, disorganization, and lack of transparency that were hallmarks of the Senate's partisan review of Maricopa County's 2020 General Election ballots.
The Secretary of State's report compiles observations and analysis from local and national election experts of the Senate's so-called audit. Hobbs said the analysis shows that the Cyber Ninjas undertook a deeply flawed, highly politicized process incapable of producing valid results.
"Problems plagued this exercise from the start," Secretary of State Katie Hobbs said. "The Senate's contractors failed to meet basic standards for a credible audit and fell even more short of meeting requirements for an election audit."
