PHOENIX – Looking for an activity in Phoenix? The Arizona Capitol Museum is a must-see destination with numerous events and activities everyone can enjoy. Recently, the museum opened a new travelling exhibit about the forced incarceration of 120,000 Japanese Americans during WWII. This joint exhibition with the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History features historical documents, engaging interactives, photographs, and personal stories.
The Arizona Historical Railroad Association’s model train exhibit is entering its second year of assembly here at the museum. Visitors are encouraged to see the progress every Wednesday and Saturday.
As for activities, a family-friendly State Symbol Scavenger Hunt has been introduced at the museum. This fun and educational feature has visitors enjoying all parts of the building in search of Arizona’s state symbols.
