PHOENIX – Need something to do on these hot summer days? The Arizona Capitol Museum invites the community to enjoy the museum’s cool exhibits and cool temperatures.

The Arizona Capitol Museum is proud to host an exhibition by local muralist and arts educator Hugo Medina, opening in late May. The exhibition features a retrospective of his work and will run through August.

The Arizona Railroad Historical Society will be at the museum every Wednesday, allowing visitors to see the progress of the first year and a half or their four-year model train project. The historical society encourages visitors’ questions and may even let those interested run the train!

The museum is closed on weekends Memorial Day through Labor Day. To schedule a tour and find additional information, please go to

http://www.azlibrary.gov/azcm/plan-your-visit or call (602) 926-3620.

The museum is located at 1700 W. Washington Street, Phoenix, AZ 85007, and is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
