2022 General Elections Recount Information
Following the Statewide Canvass of the General Election, the Secretary of State's Office requested the court order a recount pursuant to A.R.S. § 16-661. The contests have been recounted and the initial winners confirmed:
- Attorney General (Statewide Recount)
- Superintendent of Public Instruction (Statewide Recount)
- State Representative in Legislative District 13 (Maricopa County Only)

Following the court order, counties underwent Logic and Accuracy Testing then began tabulation of the 2022 General Election Ballots for the contests undergoing the recount. The results were sealed and delivered to the court on December 29, 2022. You can see all court orders including the results in the Resources section at the bottom of the page.
If both political parties agreed to participate, the county also conducted a hand count audit as part of the recount. You can view the results of each hand count below.
