Secretary Fontes Announces Statewide Implementation of the BallotTrax System
PHOENIX – In a move to enhance voter confidence and promote transparency in the electoral process, Secretary Fontes is pleased to announce the expansion of the BallotTrax system to 13 counties across the state.
“By introducing BallotTrax across rural Arizona, we prove our commitment to election integrity and enhanced voter service,” stated Secretary of State Adrian Fontes. “We will continue to improve the democratic process so that every voter can track their ballot with confidence.”
This system is designed to provide voters with real-time updates on the status of their mail-in ballots, creating transparency throughout the voting process. BallotTrax, accessible at trackmyballot.azsos.gov/voter, allows voters to register and receive notifications about their ballot status. This initiative also supports ballot curing and ensures voters are promptly informed of any necessary actions to secure their vote.
Voters are encouraged to register for BallotTrax to take advantage of this service. Registration is simple, requiring just a few steps to set up notification preferences, including options for email, text, or voice messages
While Maricopa and Pima Counties utilize alternative tracking systems, voters in other participating counties can now benefit from this reliable and user-friendly service. The integration of BallotTrax is based on information from the Secretary of State’s Arizona’s Voter Information Database (AVID), guaranteeing accuracy and security.
To support the rollout of BallotTrax, the Secretary of State’s office will launch a comprehensive outreach campaign, including social media updates, a scripted video walkthrough of the registration process, and extensive cross-engagement with other voter education platforms.
