Secretary Fontes Releases Unofficial Language for Five of 11 General Election Ballot Measures
PHOENIX – Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes has announced the release of preliminary titles and descriptions for five of 11 current ballot measures scheduled to appear on the November General Election ballot.
These unofficial documents are part of an effort to provide additional transparency in the electoral process for Arizona voters.
“My aim is to release each ballot measure as language is approved, making it easy for Arizonans to make well-informed choices,” said Secretary Fontes. “Democracy flourishes when every voter is both a knowledgeable learner and an active participant.”
Current Order of Ballot Measures:
- SCR 1006
- HCR 2033
- SCR 1015
- HCR 2039
- HCR 2023
The official ballot language and proposition numbers will be confirmed and published on July 5. The Attorney General's review continues on the six other measures, which will clarify the changes in existing laws associated with each measure if approved by a majority vote.
