Secretary Fontes Releases Official Language for General Election Ballot Measures

PHOENIX – Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes has announced the release of the official titles and descriptions for the ballot measures set to appear on the November General Election ballot. This initiative is part of an ongoing effort to provide transparency and clarity in the legislative process for Arizona voters.

"My goal is to ensure every Arizonan has the information they need to make well-informed decisions at the ballot box," said Secretary Fontes. "By offering clear and detailed descriptions of each measure, we are empowering voters to actively participate in our democracy."

Finalized Order of Ballot Measures:

  • Proposition 133: HCR 2033 – Relating to primary elections.
  • Proposition 134: SCR 1015 – Relating to initiatives and referenda.
  • Proposition 135: HCR 2039 – Relating to the governor's emergency powers.
  • Proposition 136: SCR 1041 – Relating to ballot measures.
  • Proposition 137: SCR 1044 – Relating to the judiciary department.
  • Proposition 138: SCR 1040 – Relating to wages.
  • Proposition 139 – Relating to the fundamental right to an abortion.
  • Proposition 140 – Relating to elections.
  • Proposition 212 – Relating to the minimum wage.
  • Proposition 311: SCR 1006 – Relating to first responders.
  • Proposition 312: HCR 2023 – Relating to property tax.
  • Proposition 313: SCR 1021 – Relating to child sex trafficking sentencing.
  • Proposition 314: HCR 2060 – Relating to responses to harms at the border.
  • Proposition 315: SCR 1012 – Relating to rulemaking.

The official ballot language and proposition numbers are now confirmed and published following the Attorney General's review, which clarifies the changes in existing laws associated with each measure if approved by a majority vote.
