AMPlify your Research

AMPlify Your Research Sessions are presentations by Arizona Memory Project staff designed to help you use the Arizona Memory Project in your research. There will be one presentation every month from June to October, 2024, each with a specific focus.

The August presentation is Periodicals and Publication Sets in the Arizona Memory Project.

Periodicals and government publications are effective resources for learning more about the activities of local communities and state government. But they can be tricky to navigate because of changing titles or publication hiatuses. This session will show you how organizing these materials as Periodicals and Publication Sets in the Arizona Memory Project makes it easier to find all available issues of a specific periodical or set of government publications.

The session is at 11:00 am - Noon. MST, Wednesday, August 28, and will be held virtually on Zoom.

Attendees are encouraged to register at https://azsos.libcal.com/calendar/starl

to receive the link to the presentation. During the session, there will be time for Q&A.

Recordings and slides of the presentation will be available on the Arizona Memory Project at: https://azmemory.azlibrary.gov/nodes/view/266664
