America250 Arizona Commission Announces Logo Competition to Celebrate U.S. Semiquincentennial
PHOENIX – Join the America250 Arizona Commission as they kick off the launch of a state-wide logo competition to craft a visual identity that captures the essence of Arizona’s role in the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States. We invite artists, designers, and creative minds to submit their designs that embody the spirit, heritage, and future of Arizona.

Interpretative Theme:
The United States will commemorate its Semiquincentennial in 2026, marking the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Arizona plays a unique role in this historic moment, showcasing our vibrant spirit, stunning landscapes, and rich cultural heritage. Participants are encouraged to design a logo that reflects Arizona’s commitment to the guiding values of RISE—Respect, Inclusivity and Collaboration, Stewardship and Service, and Education as well as to the 5 C’s: Copper, Citrus, Climate, Cattle, Cotton.
Contest Description and Rules:
The America250 Arizona Commission is looking for a design that illuminates Arizona’s untamed spirit of independence. Contestants of all ages are encouraged to apply. Submissions will be narrowed down to top 10 finalists, and those finalists will move on to an online, public vote by the end of the year. The winner's design will be used as the official Arizona America250 logo for events, merchandising, and branding.
