Secretary Fontes Calls on Residents to Vote for the Official America250 Arizona Logo

PHOENIX – As the United States approaches its 250th birthday in 2026, Arizona is gearing up to celebrate in grand style. The Arizona Secretary of State's Office is excited to announce the launch of public voting for the official Arizona America250 logo, marking our state’s initial contributions to the nation's Semiquincentennial celebrations. 

"We are thrilled to unveil the top 10 finalists and open the floor to public voting," said Secretary of State Adrian Fontes. "This is an opportunity for the people of Arizona to choose how they want to commemorate America's 250th anniversary and express their state pride." 

Starting today, Arizonans are invited to select the logo that will symbolize Arizona during the historic milestone. The competition has drawn entries from creative residents of all ages from all corners of our great state, eager to represent Arizona’s wild spirit of independence, its breathtaking landscapes, and rich heritage through their designs. 

Each week, we will highlight one of the top 10 finalists on our social media channels, providing insights into their creative processes and the inspiration behind their designs. The public can follow these updates and share their thoughts using the hashtag #A250AZlogo. 

The winner of this competition will have their design used on all official Arizona America250 branding and merchandise. Additionally, the winner will be featured on the Arizona America250 website and have the opportunity to join special Semiquincentennial celebrations as a VIP guest. The nine runners-up will also receive recognition for their creative efforts, with their designs being showcased across our social media platforms and opportunities to participate in future events.
