Arizona State Library Issues $75,500 from State Grants-in-Aid Program
PHOENIX – The Arizona State Library, Archives and Public Records, a division of the Secretary of State, announced $75,500 in state grants for two library construction and renovation projects. The awards were made possible by the Arizona State Legislature through the State Grants-in-Aid program.
Construction projects funded by the grants include replacement entry and exit doors at the Cottonwood Public Library, and a ballistic-grade and ADA-compliant circulation desk at the Parker Public Library.

The Arizona Legislature developed State Grants-in-Aid in 1981. The program provides direct library services to Arizona residents in both urban and rural locations and helps fund public library construction and renovation projects.
