Early Voting Begins in CD 7 Special Primary
PHOENIX – Early voting for the Special Primary Election in Arizona’s Congressional District 7 begins today. This election is limited to voters who are registered and reside within CD7, which includes parts of Cochise, Maricopa, Pima, Pinal, Santa Cruz, and Yuma counties.
Eligible voters have until 5:00 PM on July 7 to request a ballot by mail from their County Recorder.
Ballot Access by Party:
- Registered Democrats and Republicans will automatically receive that party’s ballot.
- Independent or Other voters must contact their County Recorder to request either a Democratic or Republican ballot.
- No Labels, Libertarian, and Green Party voters will only receive a ballot if they are registered with that party, as these are closed primaries. Please ensure your ballot is returned as you may still write-in an eligible candidate to receive voter credit. Click here for CD7 candidate listings.
Voters not on the Active Early Voting List (AEVL) can still request a one-time ballot-by-mail by contacting their County Recorder’s office or visiting Arizona.Vote. Voters must either join the AEVL or make this one-time request no later than July 7 at 5:00 PM.
Due to summer travel, voters should be aware that the U.S. Postal Service does not forward ballots. Those who need their ballot mailed to a temporary address must contact their County Recorder directly to request delivery to that location for this election.
