CORRECTION: Secretary Fontes Announces TrackMyBallot Availability in CD7

PHOENIX – Secretary of State Adrian Fontes today announced the availability of the TrackMyBallot ballot tracking system to voters in all six counties of Arizona’s Congressional District 7, strengthening transparency and trust ahead of the upcoming Special Primary and General Elections.

Secretary Fontes first instituted the ballot tracking system via text when he was Maricopa County recorder and after taking office as secretary of state, expanded a similar texting service statewide during the 2024 election.

“When voters can see exactly where their ballot is, when it is mailed to them, when received back to the Recorders and when it is accepted for tabulation, it takes a lot of the worry out of the process,” said Secretary Fontes.

More than 300,000 early ballots have already been mailed to voters in Cochise, Maricopa, Pima, Pinal, Santa Cruz and Yuma counties, making TrackMyBallot a vital resource for tracking ballots and ensuring voters stay informed throughout the process. Maricopa and Pima counties have their own system, but the secretary of state webpage can direct those users on how to participate in their counties.

TrackMyBallot allows voters to receive real-time updates on their mail-in ballot status. By clicking the link to trackmyballot.azsos.gov, the service provides notifications via email, text, or voice messages, ensuring voters can track their ballots as soon as mailing to counting.
