Arizona Secretary of State’s next ‘Live at Noon’ event set for Aug. 25

This is part of an informational Facebook Live series presented by the Arizona Secretary of State’s Office to answer questions about the upcoming General Election

PHOENIX – Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs and Assistant Secretary of State Allie Bones will host the next Facebook Live event in the Live at Noon series. Each of these events will highlight important election-related information.

The virtual town hall-style event is accessible through Secretary Hobbs’ Facebook page at www.fb.com/SecretaryHobbs.Topics will include:

  • Updates on voter participation in the recent Primary Election
  • The importance of voting in the 2020 General Election
  • A review of upcoming deadlines to register to vote and request an early ballot
  • Options for returning a ballot-by-mail
  • Recommended safety tips and guidelines for voting by mail
  • How to become a poll worker

There will be open dialogue for questions in the comments section during the Facebook Live event.
