Get Out and Vote! Nov. 3 is Election Day

PHOENIX – Voting locations opened at 6 a.m. across the state today, for the last day of voting in the 2020 General Election. Secretary of State Katie Hobbs is encouraging voters to make a plan before heading out to vote.
“We have had amazing voter participation so far,” Hobbs said. “As voters are preparing for Election Day, we are encouraging them to help us keep this election safe and secure. Make a plan, find a voting location, bring your sample ballot so you know your selections ahead of time, bring you own pen, wear a face covering and maintain a social distance of at least six feet from others. Election officials and poll workers across the state have been working tirelessly to make sure no one has to choose between their heath and exercising their right to vote.”
Additionally, the Secretary of State’s Office has issued the Guidance on Polling Place Conduct and Preventing Voter Intimidation to outline what voters should know when voting in person or dropping off their ballot.
Voting locations and drop boxes close at 7 p.m. All eligible voters who are in line by 7 p.m. will be permitted to cast a ballot. All ballots must be received by county elections officials by 7 p.m. today.
The Secretary of State’s office will start posting results around 8 p.m. on Arizona.Vote. Initial results will include early ballots tabulated before Election Day. Voters may find more information by visiting Arizona.Vote or by calling 1-877-THE-VOTE.
