Veterans Charities Organizations
It is unlawful for a person to solicit money or other support in the name of American veterans unless the veterans’ organization for which the person is soliciting money or other support files a registration statement with the Secretary of State. (A.R.S. § 13-3722).
Professional Employer Organizations (PEO)
Pursuant to H.B. 2252 (signed into law on April 2, 2024), Professional Employer Organizations will not be required to register with the office of the Arizona Secretary of State.
Corporations
The Arizona Secretary of State DOES NOT record corporations or limited liability companies (LLCs) for the state of Arizona.
If you want to file a corporation or LLC, you will need to contact an entirely separate agency called the Arizona Corporation Commission. Our office cannot answer questions regarding the filing process for a corporation or LLC, nor can we access any detailed filing information.
You may research corporate public records on the Arizona Corporation Commission's search website.
