Arizona Secretary of State's Office launches updated BallotBot for the 2026 election cycle
PHOENIX – The Arizona Secretary of State's Office today announced the launch of an updated BallotBot, an AI-powered virtual assistant designed to help Arizona voters quickly find accurate, official election information throughout the 2026 election cycle.
Available on both azsos.gov and Arizona.Vote, BallotBot provides voters with around-the-clock access to answers to frequently asked questions about Arizona elections.
The updated version includes expanded knowledge, improved response accuracy, and an enhanced user experience to help voters more easily navigate election information, and to even further increase accessibility, the BallotBot is offered in two languages: English and Spanish.
BallotBot can assist voters with topics including:
- Voter registration and registration deadlines
- Early voting and vote-by-mail information
- Ballot tracking
- Voting locations and hours
- Election dates and deadlines
- Voter identification requirements
- General election procedures and resources
The tool is designed to supplement, not replace, the assistance available from county election officials and the Secretary of State's Office. When appropriate, BallotBot directs users to additional official resources or their county election office for information specific to their jurisdiction.
"As elections approach, voters often have questions outside normal business hours," said Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes. "BallotBot helps connect Arizonans with official election information whenever they need it, making it easier to find answers from trusted sources."
The updated BallotBot, and its bilingual abilities, builds on the Secretary of State's ongoing efforts to improve voter access to election information through secure, user-friendly digital services.
Voters can access BallotBot by visiting azsos.gov or Arizona.Vote and selecting the BallotBot icon in the lower right corner on the website.
