Arizona Voters Encouraged to Track Their Ballot Status and Stay Informed on Election Day
PHOENIX – On Election Day, Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes is reminding voters to take advantage of secure voting resources and rely on trusted election information housed on Arizona.Vote. The following statement includes information related to early voting trends and reminders for in-person voting today.

"Ensuring every Arizona voter has a safe and secure voting process is paramount and no one works harder than those on the ground in our counties. I am extremely proud of the work my office has done to support our election officials across the state and I look forward to a great Election Day."
Early voting for the July 21st primary kicked off on June 24, 2026. Thanks to the funding provided by the legislature and Governor Hobbs, the Secretary of State's Office successfully facilitated a 73% statewide increase in BallotTrax registration. In the face of mounting falsehoods hurled at Arizona's trusted mail-in voting system, BallotTrax, Arizona's ballot tracking service for the state's rural counties, provides updates by text or email as a ballot moves through the process. Similar texting programs for ballot tracking are available in Maricopa and Pima Counties. Ballot tracking offers added security and peace of mind by confirming when a ballot is received and accepted for counting. This is a win for Arizona's voters.
As of July 20th, 852,369 early ballots have been returned statewide, the vast majority via USPS mail delivery.

Voters who have not yet cast their ballot should check with their county elections office for polling place information, voting hours, and any county-specific guidance. It is too late to mail back early ballots, as they must by law be received by county election officials by 7 p.m. tonight, so voters are advised to drop-off voted early ballots at any polling location or official ballot dropbox. The first ballot results are expected to be released beginning at approximately 8:00 p.m. this evening. Counties will continue processing eligible ballots after polls close, with an updated statewide ballot progress report expected by Wednesday on the Arizona Secretary of State's website: azsos.gov.
