This prestigious award, established in 2021 by the National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS), seeks to honor the exemplary efforts of young Arizonans who embody the spirit of leadership, social justice, and community service that Congressman John Lewis championed in his lifetime.

This annual nonpartisan event, established by the National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS) in 2002, aims to encourage voter participation and increase awareness about state requirements and deadlines for voting.

PHOENIX – On Election Day for several municipalities in Arizona, Secretary of State Adrian Fontes reminded voters to drop off their ballots for their votes to be counted.
PHOENIX – To commemorate Statehood Day, Secretary Fontes will take part in a ceremonial event at the State Capitol where the State Constitution will be on display. The event is open to the public and members of the media. Secretary Fontes will read the statehood proclamation originally made by President Taft and will provide brief remarks.

Notably, the number of inactive voters has dropped since the last update due to a more frequent list maintenance schedule.
