PHOENIX – The Maricopa County Superior Court confirms results for the July 30, 2024, Primary Election for United States Representative for Congressional District 3 between candidates Yassamin Ansari and Raquel Terán. With Ansari receiving 19,087 votes and Terán receiving 19,048 votes, the results remain reliable by a difference of three votes.
PHOENIX – The Arizona Secretary of State's Office would like to inform the public that the Maricopa County Superior Court will conduct an open reading of Civil Court Case CV2024-021570 tomorrow at 11:30 AM. The session, presided over by Judge Jennifer Ryan-Touhill, will take place at 201 W. Jefferson Street, Phoenix, AZ.

AMPlify Your Research Sessions are presentations by Arizona Memory Project staff designed to help you use the Arizona Memory Project in your research. There will be one presentation every month from June to October, 2024, each with a specific focus.

The announcement comes following the commission's inaugural agenda item for this year: recognizing Arizona's winning students of America's Field Trip, a nationwide scholastic contest designed to engage youth in commemorating the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

PHOENIX – Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes hosted the inaugural meeting of his Artificial Intelligence and Election Security Advisory Committee. This group of subject-matter experts, co-chaired by Chris Cummiskey and Gowri Ramachandran, will guide Secretary Fontes on the deployment of AI technologies in safeguarding Arizona's elections.
PHOENIX – The recent incident at the Maricopa County Tabulation and Election Center should reassure the public about the effectiveness of the security measures in place.
PHOENIX – Yesterday, the Secretary of State's Office took proactive steps to ensure that all voters, especially those registered as "independent", understand their voting rights and the ways to participate in the upcoming July 30 Primary election. The office sent out a detailed e-mail to all registered voters in Arizona’s 13 rural counties that are part of the Access Voter Information Database (AVID) voter registration system, focusing initially on independent voters.
PHOENIX – The Arizona Secretary of State's Office wishes to inform the public about ongoing voter registration outreach by the Voter Participation Center (VPC) and the Center for Voter Information (CVI). These private organizations aim to engage Arizona voters by increasing participation in upcoming elections. VPC and CVI have sent voter registration forms to residents in all 15 counties.

The Arizona State Library, Archives and Public Records is partnering with 235 public libraries and neighborhood branches statewide to launch the program. The start date may vary from library to library, but generally runs from June 1 through August 1.
